Come Celebrate Our Legislative Efforts for the South Carolina Self Storage Association!

Come celebrate with us at our Spring Meeting in Beautiful Columbia South Carolina. Our exciting format this meeting will include multiple round tables with a key note address from Bob Francis of The Heron Group. We’ll discuss many topics of concern including management issues and ideas, new technologies for self storage, legal updates from around the country and most especially, our legislative updates.

Legislatively, the SCSSA has been especially busy drafting new lien laws, updating our Rental Agreement, offered to members of the SCSSA FREE of Charge, and working with our state legislature to get the ball rolling. State lien law updates are getting close to being introduced in THIS LEGISLATIVE SESSION and the SCSSA announced that we have sought out and have been awarded $15,000 in financial support from the National SSA Legislative Fund.

This is a HUGE success for our association and for our industry, statewide. This award is only a small indication of the massive effort underway in South Carolina to reform the laws affecting self storage in a major effort to bring them, and industry, into the 21^st century!
